What is a Career Advisor?

Career Advisors support students interested in pursuing Career+ pathways in advanced manufacturing or logistics. Support includes the development or refinement of a 4-year graduation plan that includes a microcredential, Next Level Program of Study (NLPS), Capstone course with Work-Based Learning, and placement into a locally available, in-demand, high-wage career with employer funded college education upon graduation from high school. Career Advisors transition students to a Career Coach in Ivy Tech’s Office of Career Coaching and Employer connections for postsecondary support.
